Sifting the light as a sculptural gesture.

2013

The geometric exploration of a hexagon allows us to study the possible modules circumscribed in it. These define

an infinite repeating pattern

that generates a surface capable

to adapt to facades, both exterior

and interior with the aim of sifting

the  incident light. The prototype

was built in steel, however, the design

can adapt to isolating sound materials.

This project is published in the book “Constructive Components. Rethinking Modern Heritage ”, which has had recognition at the Architecture

Biennale from Maracaibo in 2013,

with an honorable mention in technology

and Construction Contributions.

In 2017 it received an honorific

mention in Research at the Architecture Biennale from Venezuela .
